I see people drawing a line on the 🇺🇸 map to split republicans and democrats. It is extremely dangerous. This is what 🇷🇺 was doing with 🇺🇦 for all 30 years of independence. It was language, religion, EU integration etc. You know the result 🪖. When you are divided, you are weak. Don't make that mistake.

Якщо починаєте великий рефакторінг, спочатку треба піднімати рівень покриття тестами, щоб зафіксувати поведінку вашого коду. Чим більше відсотків по рядкам і гілкам, тим краще. В ідеалі 100% покриття, але на практиці це число може бути трохи менше. Мають бути як юніт, так і функціональні тести.

Щодо рефаторінгу. Коли його робити? Найкращий варіант: ви бачите невеликий фрагмент коду, який можете підправити. Зробіть це тут і зараз, не відкладайте. Так по-троху ваш код буде ставати більш зрозумілим, а час на рефакторінг не вплине на поточну роботу. Тести повинні бути обов'язково.

Я дуже сподіваюся, що тренд контролю що купує місцева влада під час війни, швидко пошириться і дійде до тих, хто має владу. Можливо хтось скаже, що економіка повинна працювати, дороги, треба робити і таке інше. Все так, але зараз кожна вільна копійка має йти на спорядження для тих, хто на фронті.
