You can submit your good experiences in a zine by comparing it to past fandom zines vaguely, but if names get dropped, we won't post them. Thank you for understanding🫶

zine advice #4 💌 💘 Hello! Thank you for the ask~ In most cases, zines rarely accept absolutely everyone that applies to contribute to a project. The primary reason for that is often organisation; handling a--potentially--very large amount (1/11)

where does one find zines that accept anyone? /gen

i wanna join a zine but idk how

love seeing members of a zine i'm modding come and intermingle across platforms. Watching them appear in each other's strawpages, retweeting/posting eachother, talking on main- it makes me proud to be their mod. I'll never tell them I see, but I do. It's so cute. I love just watching them have fun.

I'm in this Love&Deepspace zine that almost went digital instead of initially-promised physical (the book, not merch) due to some reasons (was so upsetting asdgjh), but SHOUTOUT TO THIS ONE(1) CONTRIBUTOR who spoke up & gave suggestions, and now not only the buyers but THE CONTRIBUTORS ARE GETTING THEIR FREE PHYSICAL BOOKS TOO TvT!!! I might be too shy to speak up in the server about this, but I HOPE THEY KNOW HOW MUCH THIS MEANS AND I'M PRETTY SURE EVERYONE'S SECRETLY GRATEFUL TO THEM TOO AAAAHH, TYSM!! 😭💖💖💖

in another zine confession account someone asked how to find good translator mods and i wanted to recc @meowndarin on discord (they're in zinetown) i'm in a zine where they do jp promos and server announcements even including communication in jp probably cause we have a japanese contributor so I assume their jp is good enough to either ask them to join or for help how to judge translator mods :o

zine advice #3 💌 💘 Hello! Thank you for the ask~ Generally, experience associated with writing, editing, language studies, teaching, communication, proofreading, and creation are very helpful to get into zines as a Writing Mod. (1/10)

I'd like to get into zines (specifically into writing mod!) and i wanted to ask if you have any advice for applying to this position even without prior experience as writing mod? Thanks!

zinepraise account questions #1 🫀

question: hope am not overstepping by asking this but shoudl you recieve praise from publicly known or criticized mods / zines that did something harmful would you still be posting them?
on a kinder note happy that you keep our zine timeline positive <3
answer: It depends on the severity of harmful acts as well as available documentation of those harmful acts such as scamming, theft, plagiarising and doxxing. As a base-rule, however, we post every praise we receive regardless of personal feelings or experiences.

zine praises #65 🫶 💖"big shoutout to all the zines that cover more “niche” characters/ships, i feel like you can really see the passion shine from everyone involved in those projects!!"
