"Now when I work I discover a string of related possibilities..." Ruth Asawa's art returns to the Zimmerli, this time with an installation featuring three of her iconic wire sculptures from different periods. Read on below ⬇️

From a central point extend many weaved wire branches that grow smaller and smaller as they move outwards. The abstract shape is suspended via a wire cable in front of a white wall.

Mounted flat to a white wall with streaks of daylight and shadows is an abstract woven wire cable shape. The branches of the shape start thick in the center and as they extend outwards, become thinner.

MEOW 🎶🐈‍⬛ Advertised in this poster by the iconic French artist, Jules Chéret, is a concert featuring a performance of "Duo des Chats." Composed entirely of the word "meow," this vocal performance tells the tale of two cats that are caught in what may be a fight or, a romantic conversation.
