"Sometimes…dead is better." You could think of this as "Motel Styx 1.5" if you want…and it is disgusting. But it's a great read that maintains the "oh my god I can't look away" aura of its predecessor, dealing with "legalized consensual necrophilia". #booksky #bookrecommendations 📕📚📚❔📚❓ 💙📚 🩸📚

A follow-up (unpaid!!) to my reviews from yesterday of these fantastic horror-comedy-but-more-horror-than-I-expected "Get 20% Off" books. An absolute bargain that you can't miss! Great reads & a great way to support an indie writer! #booksky #bookrecommendations 📕📚📚❔📚❓ 💙📚 🩸📚

"Let’s end your nightmare. Once and for all." Both "Get 20% Off Your First Demon This ___" books were very well-executed horror comedies, noting the horror is often heavier than the comedy. Still, both books are great reads, perfect for Halloween! #booksky #bookrecommendations 📕📚📚❔📚❓ 💙📚 🩸📚

The "rules" (laws, whatever "they" will eventually call them) should be quite simple: anyone working a 40-hour per week job (or calculated as such) should be able to earn a living wage. It's all there in black & white, usu with politicians standing next to the best numbers. It's not that hard.

The best WRITTEN book I read in August was John Ajvide Lindqvist's "I Am Behind You", an ethereal horror story about, well, nothing. The book I probably most enjoyed in August was "Snake-Eater" by T.Kingfisher, who when she is on, she burns the pages away with her prose and imagination. Wonderful!
