1/ This should be true, the problem though is that the would be dictator puts the forces he needs in place in the pre-coup period. When the coup happens no one can stop it. The red lines need to be drawn before the coup, and an organized force set up to remove the regime if they are crossed.

But know that AIPAC is but one of over 2,500 Super-PACs, and accounts for less than 0.05% of total USA Federal Campaign spending, and make ads for 98% of candidates, both Democrats and GOP; AND know that Russian trolls are actively smearing/slandering Dems backed by AIPAC.
