We are excited to announce that we have six ZIG sponsored sessions lined up for the 2027 annual meeting, all of which are seeking abstracts! See details on all the sessions below.

Zooarchaeology is under 300 words! (Poster session) Chaired by Madison McCartin and Erin Mooneyham. 
2. Data in the Curation Box Unlocking the Potential of Legacy Collections through Zooarchaeological Research (symposium, co-sponsored by ZIG and CIG) chaired by Stefanie Perez, Lori Thompson, and Veronica Arias. 
3. Animals in Context: The Central Role of Zooarchaeology in Interdisciplinary Studies (symposium) chaired by Kelly Moss and Ziqi Chew. 
4. Hidden Faunas: Investigating the Importance of Niche & Non-Traditional Zooarchaeological Assemblages (symposium) chaired by Andrew Colwell. 
5. Experimental Zooarchaeology (symposium) chaired by Gillian Wong, Miriam Belmaker, and Marlena Billings. 
6. Historic Zooarchaeology (symposium) chaired by Pam Crabtree and Betsy Reitz. A cream colored poster with magenta text boxes listing the names of the six sponsored sessions.
