I saw this film. It was good. I understand why people like it. I could not stop making fun of it the entire time. This movie is rife with bits. I am now screaming "DO YOU LOVE ME?" and "OPEN THE DOOR I GOT LIKE A BILLION DOLLARS dude ITS REAL " as vocal stims.

A mid album with a few gems on it made into a confusing movie with some nice visuals that I ultimately have a fondness for because I saw it when I was like 6 years old and it was the most transgressive piece of media I have ever seen at that point.

This movie reads like a fanfic. It's fantastic. Mechsploitation girls should all make time to go see it. There's a point in the movie where the main character states that their ideal sex scene is one where they are the victim. A hot older woman is nice to her. Jane Schoenbrun I know what you are.

I forgot to write a review of this but nolan proves that cinema is still worth making, absolute kino. I wasn't interested in seeing this originally cause I read the book, but then i remembered i love Christopher nolan. Ty me nolan you've done it again.

Before you start bitching at me no I didn't give money for this. This is in fact my fourth reread of this book, and I think I understand some of the criticisms a bit more. Some of the reiterating can be a bit tiring, but honestly after having read Ryukishi, this amount of repetition is nothing lol.

Finally finished my reread of hekates call today. Inertia is just the coolest mech out there. I really gotta learn how to sit on secrets like mal does cause everything with morian in the finale is also just really satisfying to learn. Mal is really one of the best to do it in this genre for sure.

Another great book. A lot less cyberpunk than neuromancer, but does a lot for the android tropes. I love how philip really makes you believe the Androids are just a little bit different, in such small ways, and yet you still feel for them all the same.
