The tax code puts most people to sleep, but it's the heart of the problem. Until we start taxing corporations and the ultra wealthy not on their income but on their untaxed capital gains we can't start to correct a rigged system.

Shortly after the war started, Trump quietly lifted sanctions on Russian oil, which increased Putin's revenues and gave him more money to fight Ukraine. Most of Russia's oil goes to Europe via pipeline. It did nothing to mitigate loss from closing of the strait. Not difficult to connect the dots

It shouldn't come as a surprise that Trump, who said he loves debt when referring to himself, would bring that same approach to governing. It will take years to dig ourselves out of the deficit hole he's created in eighteen months. We have gotten nothing for it except tax cuts for billionaires.

Accurate polling is possible. But it's expensive & takes about a week to conduct a good, accurate poll. Bad polling is often inexpensive & quickly done. You can also factor in changes to voter opinion over the period of time it takes to conduct the poll.
