That much for a cosmetic IN A TAG FIGHTER is diabolical bro

Im doing this to prove A I can stick to linux for more than a week B linux isn't for everyone or even most ngl

120

A it's not my first time, it's my 5th B the reasons I switch off linux every time are consistent in this one, in fact there are fewer because proton and WINE are awesome and are preinstalled/easy to add

120

I should've known better, I had to contact the devs of the last distro I used directly for this exact reason

guess who's learning how to replace kernel modules cuz the stock linux realtek network drivers are dog ass?

my internet speed, listed at 1.2 megabits a second

Omni-man staring into the camera, invoking the phrase "are you sure?"

Got partition manager to work but MAN does a 2TB drive take a while to format

steamOS update! so first, the good news it boots and runs fine, if not better logged into everything fine I was able to get my files off my backup drive The bad news KDE partition manager fucking sucks and I still haven't formatted my backup drive into something I can use for games because of it

110

If I give an honest, genuine try to steamOS, would you guys accept progress reports on my bsky feed as proof of my tribulations?

140

I get the urge to post every few weeks and use this as an outlet, otherwise my account is dead and I like it that way

000

I think I'm too braindead for linux ngl. Like I'm not a power user I think but having to go into shell for things I can do in a menu on windows is a huge barrier for me. Proton works ok I guess since launch arguments aren't usually that long but other stuff can get obnoxious

Now that I have you here I just wanna say I can't even lie this hakaider design is TUFF

Well I have to make a kingdom hearts edit of this with Donald in an organization hoodie, thanks for that

ninja storm and dino thunder are pretty similar to mighty morphin in premise but act as wild permutations of that formula

Zetta Musou @zettaslow.net · 16/08/2026

I'm not sure what you mean by "that kind of development",the type of adaptation? moreover I feel its reductive to say the only difference in power rangers season-to-season is the theme, or even saying there isn't enough difference in each season to justify its premise like ignoring RPM and in space

100

also ban people above 35 from being on the creative teams of these shows cuz if I see another person glaze the saban era I WILL ACTUALLY CRASH OUT

000

I'm going to preface this with I liked power rangers 2017 since it feels like an impossibility to get another rider adaptation, I think we need to approach PR from an anthology lens similar to kamen rider where every season has a new crew along with cast to give each one a unique feel

200

Mind you, only one of them is good

Zetta Musou @zettaslow.net · 07/08/2026

We have arguably done that 3 times

100

btw you are the only cornerstone of my fyp to not morally falter in some way(with the exception of FD Signifier of course) so im gonna need you to continue being the awesome person you are while maintaining a healthy work-life balance since hank green got dangerously close to becoming AI slop

they're right and they should say it

Tumblr post from user epicsause-official:

"i think we are long overdue for a game that does the reverse of 90s first person shooters and actively makes fun of the player for picking the hard difficulty"

Below that is an image that says SELECT DIFFICULTY and below are three options like you might see in the original Doom. In order they are:

"I'm compensating for my complete lack of a social life" (Harder enemies, less useful pickups)

"Alright, let's see what this is all about!"
(Recommended for first playthrough)

"Sorry, I'm too busy PLOWING my GIRLFRIEND to play this game!"
(More items, you kill enemies faster)

We gotta start doing what power rangers(and tokusatsu in general now that I think of it) does and hire absolute randos with just enough experience to get the part
