i mean, hard edges there, that face with letters would be flat on shading smooth/hard edges influence on how normal map will be baked cause rays "emmited" from vertices, and angle of rays depends from angle of normal, that smooth face or flat ALSO, play with min/max offset of cage in marmoset 😶

oh man, i created additional headache with this separate planks 😩 when i make all uvs and start baking, it turned out that some planks bakes on other one (so unexpectedly haha, i forget about this D:) so i separate all planks and explode it for baking

i like how it came out. Because i made all planks separately, it's just possible hide part of details and receive little different asset i now have idea to texture it just like this, for possibility to customization but UV will be crazy, need should make several UDIMs or something #gameart #blender
