terrifying secret from myhouse.wad

A still recreation of a short Skinamarink parody animation by @zerstoerer, made in Ultimate Doom Builder using map geometry and assets from the mod MyHouse.pk3, commonly known as "MyHouse.wad"

The image shows a hallway with two doors and a line running down towards a deep tunnel leading to a bright area with grass and a blue sky full of clouds. There are 3 paint cans outside of the tunnel, with one paint can containing a yellow-handled paintbrush.

Ditto, but shown from the side around the corner to break the illusion of depth from the "tunnel"

this is 1. hilarious and 2. extremely relevant to me because myhouse.wad's brutalist segment was inspired in part by a photo i took lol. i love that wad

100% agree! it's one of my favorite films in the genre, for me it works on a level of 'there's something behind the stair steps', a general air of emotional neglect or confusion, etc. - this clip is over the top but to me also felt like the natural extension of the entity's behavior in the film
