Our initial reaction to the new programme for government: Great to hear the First Minister talk about a 'preventative first approach' and to have many of our manifesto asks included, but... We need decisive action to make these promises a reality. More analysis to follow...
A checklist titled "Are our manifesto asks in the programme for government?" contains several items. Checked items include: "Long-term expert led prevention campaigns," "Community prevention campaigns for men and boys," "Misogyny bill," "Human rights bill," "Sustainable funding for the third sector," and "Regulate online platforms." The item "Statutory education on relationships and sex for all young people" is marked with an X.
