🎮 Every Switch 2 Minecraft video has the render distance wrong. 28 chunks only applies if you turn Vibrant Visuals off. With VV on (which is the default) it is 16. 16 is still better than 12 on the old Switch. Just stop saying 28.

view-distance. Vanilla defaults it to 10, which means 21x21 chunks loaded per player. Drop to 8 (or 6 on modded) and you halve the CPU load before anyone even connects. Everything else you tweak per-game.
