It's been a while, I miss my silly coord edits!! Here's ai-kon 2026!! It was my b-day and the con had a circus theme, so I wore some of my balloon prints 🎈🎂

Got stressed about how quickly con season will catch up to me and sewed 12 pairs of cotton wristcuffs last weekend, and finished 6/9 black lace pairs this week before I ran out of elastic :0

Taobao order!!! (part 2) Some accessories, plus I learned that I could buy tamagotchi items on taobao and went a little hard : o I'm so excited!!

A flatlay or everything that arrived in my taobao order. For egl, I got the sheep puff heart bag in mint, a black headbow, some star clips, and a few rings. For tamagotchis, I got 2 connections, some cases, two of the blind bags, and an ichigotchi pouch.

Experimented with different style headdresses using the scraps from this dress : ) tried to go for both a more "traditional" and "modern" style of headdress with materials I already had at home! First time making small fabric bows too 💜 #handmadelolita

Two rectangle egl headdresses. Both made with a light purple gingham fabric with a floral pattern. The first has white cotton/crochet lace around the outside and detachable fabric bows at each end. The second has mesh lace around the outside, white trim and lavender ribbon on the centre to make a criss-cross design, and lavender ribbon bows at each end.

Made some more black headdresses #handmadelolita I also just realized I forgot to order lace to make black headdresses with mesh lace, so kicking myself a little bit :c

Two black flat/rectangle style egl headdresses. One is right side up to show details (criss-cross ribbon lacing from a rose trim, and a larger bow at each end) and the other is flipped over to show the clips sewn to the back. The ruffle around the outside is made from the same fabric and the backing. Both have the ribbon ties filling the sides of the image in a squiggle.

Tamagotchi jsk!!! A local comm friend was doing a taobao group order and I felt like it was time to get this dress (and socks!) It's really cute, but the bubble hem is tricky to steam so its still wrinkly after my first go. #eglfashion

I think this is the fourth? colour of ribbon I've bought to make these beige wristcuffs, I think it's as close to a perfect match as I'll get. The others weren't bad and have their uses, but this is satisfying 💜

Another quick alteration, the straps on this jsk were loose from age, I was able to remove some stitches and just tighten the remaining elastics c : (Also the coord edit was fully orange on my desktop, don't know what happened) #eglfashion

I got these headresses second-hand in October/November and finally got around to my standard alterations. Adding weft clips, and removing the tied bow/stitching down the small ribbon on the smaller style. (The bows are super wonky though, so I might replace them at some point)

How I ended up coordinating my homemade plaid set pieces at recent meetups. I love spending time making test coords, then disregarding them the day I want to wear them out : v #eglfashion

My mercari order finally arrived after being trapped in the postal backlog. I'm so relieved ⛄️ Squirrel party has some repairs needed before it's able to be washed, so it's going to be wrinkly for a while!

The final item in my stack of repairs : D I got this item used in "like new" condition, but clearly was stored on a hanger. Had to replace the neckline elastic and the top three lines of the shirring panel. Was pretty easy in the end, so I'm annoyed it took me a year to get around to :/ #eglfashion

Newly finished skirt! I wanted red plaid, black trim, an a-line shape, and a pleated waistband So I combined it all, and this is what I came up with :0 (I'll get photos with a petti under it later) #eglfashion #handmadelolita

A red plaid egl skirt laid flat on the ground. The skirt is pleated into the waistband in the front, closer to the hem there is a row of black ladder lace with thin black ribbon in it. At the hem, there's a ruffle from the same red plaid with a line of black rose trim where it attaches to the skirt.

The back of the red plaid skirt also laid on the floor. There are the same details as the front, but the waistband is elastic on this side, so there is no pleating.

Another old WIP :0 this has been sitting in a pile for over a year now. Ngl, the pattern I came up with for this is pretty bad. I have no idea why i did it this way, I've made better before I started this, but it's done now. #handmadelolita

A flatlay of a shirred tank top/bodice to wear with egl fashion. It's made out of a red plaid fabric, with elastic every inch or so horizontal along the bodice. About 2 inches are left without elastic to flare out at the bottom, which is cropped to hit the waist. There is a line of black ladder lace along the neckline as well as along each strap, which are around 2 inches wide and are elasticated.

The same tank top displayed on my dress form to give it a little more shape.
