iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I dunno I'm a big fan of the blue haired girl 😅

The act of doing various tasks to collect Virtue just reminds me a lot of certain board games where the idea is to collect "victory points" again through various tasks in the game, sometimes having multiple paths to victory, not just one. It's a very cool concept for this game, I love it.

Reminds me a lot of a board game 😅😆

I dunno if you get the same vibe as I do but it feels a lot like a board game. Like you're doing various tasks to collect Virtue (aka victory points).

Apparently there will also be different finales in the final game, so not every match will end in a 3 player free for all. Interesting 🤔

The Duskbloods rules. GOTY. It's like a live Bloodborne-esque board game. There's the PVP element, but you also have your own PVE encounters & exploration to worry about and there's co-op elements to it too and it all culminates in a final 3 showdown. It's rad as hell man.

I am not here to debate the accuracy of this statement, merely to say that in Crank 2: High Voltage they got Jason Statham to wear a big rubber Jason Statham mask for a kaiju parody fight scene where he's stomping around like Godzilla, it's pure movie magic

Jason Statham wearing a big rubber mask of himself

I agree to an extent. I think my main issue with considering that generation "retro" is that I feel like the industry is still stuck in the late PS3/360 era. Games of today play and feel a lot like games of that era, like we're stuck and can't move on from like 2012-2013.

Finally decided to jump into Shizuku now that the English patch has been out for a bit. Boy, these PC98 VNs sure hit different. The vibe is so good.

Got my first @wholegrainpictures.bsky.social @animeigo.com order delivered the other day. Fantastic packaging, 10/10, could not have asked for better service. So nice to have a place I can count on for disc purchases in the future.

Important to understand that the purpose of these laws is to convert unhoused people into slave labor for the prison system. That's not a side effect, or an unintended consequence. It's the main reason these laws exist.

Otakuthon pick ups. Mostly Blurays of dubious quality (thank you Media Blasters!), but there's a couple legitimately good shows in there.

You should! Be ready for some real 8-bit RPG-ass grinding. Holy!

I did technically beat it many years earlier when I played the mobile version (actually good somehow) or the Super Famicom remake. But I felt like I had to do the original.

The other night a buddy of mine & I wrapped up our playthrough of Dragon Quest, the NES original. For the first time, I finally can say I played the whole thing through to completion! It only took like 30 odd years. 😅

Also let's be honest with ourselves. The Quebec flag mogs every other provincial flag.
