I could not dream of a more laser-targeted merch item than a tie-in small batch coffee blend for the conclusion to a Mega Man prog rock opera epic. Literally made for me.
A slick monochrome portrait of a hyper realistic freedom fighter, unclear which. A streak of red cuts across the package horizontally, crossing out his eye.

Redline Coffee. The Protomen.FUEL FOR THE FIREProtomen.com

Sound Machine RecordsAbout the brew...

Twenty-two years ago, we started this band knowing that one day we'd quit music and become a coffee company. That day has finally come.

In the fall of 2011, we shelved the completed recordings of Act III and pointed our tour bus to the far reaches of the earth in a quest to figure out what kind of plant coffee grows on. No one knew at the time, but it turns out it's a kind of shrub.

On our adventures, we tasted hundreds of shrubs. Thousands.

Our favorite was the ficus tree, which we were ultimately told "doesn't roast well" and "isn't coffee".

In the end, we learned it's best to partner with a great local roaster like Bongo Java Roasting Co. and let them handle the hard stuff.

- The Protomen

Tasting Notes: brown sugar, nutty, dried cherry, a hint of ficus.

turns out my body is still a machine that turns work stress into GameCube games. luckily, I have also fashioned it into a machine that turns GameCube games into played GameCube games. small victories!
Yet another irresponsible amount of GameCube games accumulated over an admittedly less high-stress (but still relatively high-stress) period in the last few months. In order, the games are...

- Nintendo GameCube Preview Disc (2003)
- Custom Robo (2004)
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time + Master Quest (2003)
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (2006)
- The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (2004)
- Sonic Mega Collection (2002)
- Super Monkey Ball (2001)
- Super Monkey Ball 2 (2002)
- Super Monkey Ball Adventure (2006)
- Odama (2006) (big box edition)

In the background, the Game Boy Player Start-Up Disc (2003) can be seen peeking out from behind the stack of games. Similarly, Pikmin New Play Control (2009) for the Wii can be seen lining the bottom of the stack, trying not to call attention to itself.

I should write more game reviews
A purr-fessional business cat, looks forlornly past his newspaper, now gently resting upon the table as if he had just been reading it but placed it down to ponder thoughts that only recently came into focus. It's as if he has had a gentle but somewhat tiring realization. In the foreground, a teacup sits, untouched. Is business cat British? That's up to you to decide.

That meme where some unruly fellas are yelling "Shut up!" at Mr. Jesus that's captioned with "Most people rejected His message. They hated Jesus because He told them the truth." (Gal. 4:16).

In this instance, I'm using it to proclaim that coconut vanilla flavored Greek yogurt is goated (perhaps even with the sauce), which I know will be poorly received with the audience at which I am skeeting.
