At this point if he continues to vote with them, he's no better than they are. He needs to resign or change party. Like Pelosi, they did a few good things in their time, but they no longer belong in the pilot's seat and need to stop standing in the way of progress and younger generations.

It might be the hypocrisy that bugs me the most. If Biden had demanded fealty, we all know they would have gone apeshit. The death of shame and lack of consequences has truly been our downfall. And media having double standards because they fear one person more only feeds it.

I like how the NYT avoids placing blame on the literally the person responsible for it and has been promoting it. As if the tariffs are something that's just happening to Americans. Context is important, like how NYT journalism has become a echo of administration talking points.

Amazing speech rebuking classic conservatives who are weaponizing religion to hurt people. Targeting trans people using the same tired rhetoric used against black people, immigrants, gay people. How is that not anti-social behavior? Society needs to reject their intolerance wherever you see it.

I do empathize with the fact that because we're here and reading/typing all of this means we're in the upper percentile of the literate population; bottom half is deficient in basic literacy, so to them, he is smarter than they are. He only gets more powerful as he defunds education, unfortunately.

I feel like every headline has been run through an AI filter of 'make it less his personal responsibility' because all the MSM is captured or afraid. All the triggers are left out; like Zelensky just got irrationally irritated or Canada just declared a trade war out of the blue.
