done! solved the token issue by selling gilded pets to son, which doesn't go well with my "living wf dex" goal, but I can re-farm them later (if deimos ever gets a visual qol pass) unironically enjoying the circuit these days, idec about incarnons, I just like fun (sometimes broken) decree combos

okay, I switched once for the Swinburne mission bc I wanted to accept his offer, and I wasn't sure whether the turrets would stop firing (already killed him in NG) I'll have to switch for the Ice Worm tho, no way I can do enough damage with this build (or carry more than one Needle)

haven't switched and haven't died a single time between Ocean Crossing and Attack the Old Spaceport with this lightweight build, and I'm honestly surprised how well it's going, those guns are objectively NOT good

And here's some 2025 art introspection (note screenshot to get around the character limit to keep it cohesive, also in alt text). Thanks to everyone who showed me support this year, be in with likes, comments, etc., it's much appreciated 🙏💜

I already mentioned this back in June, but I feel like the stuff I've been making lately has been ridiculously bland while being decent technically. Take the Valkyr; it's the best I've done in a while from the technical standpoint (lineart, rendering), but I look at it and feel... nothing. It looks good, but it's boring as fuck.

The best art I made was back in 2019-2021, it wasn't made very well, but it was much more interesting. I still consider 10-0tober 2020 to be my WF fanart peak. I'd love to go back to that in 2026, to worry less about the technical quality, and focus on what feels good.

I'll dive into WF lore, and do some illustrations based on that. The Fenn Jotar illustration did poorly, which was pretty discouraging, but looking back now, I still like it, and it doesn't really matter if it doesn't resonate with others, as long as it resonates with me. It's cliché, but I'm not gonna lose sleep over a hobby.

Style-wise, I'd like to start experimenting more. Sketches, textured brushes, some painting... gotta explore the whole toolbox. I'll still try to post some free clean lineart for y'all, but there will be less of that.

I've had enough of this guy. Been putting off assembling the second leg just because the stickers (1 and 7) on the first leg were a pain in the ass - I can deal with small stickers (e.g. eyes), but these are hard to place (need to wrap around the part), and somehow don't stick very well.

Played WF at least once each month, no wonder I got burned out, I used to take breaks lasting 2-3 months. Not enough Death Stranding this year, 540xLLL is still work in progress, been thinking of picking it up lately anyway. Tyranny is on hold bc I just don't have the energy for it after work.

pre-rework Operator/Drifter Monte the rework can't come soon enough tbh, Op used to have the same violet/mint-coloured hair which just turned black one day, and Drifter has been broken since the dating sim dropped (no, he's not getting any)

finished DA + TA for the first time ever all modifiers on, so I unlocked EDA/ETA as well. idk if I'll ever play these again, I like the concept, but the rewards are not worth the stress I get playing hard missions with randoms I'm already drowning in vosfor, so I can just buy the TA arcanes later

it's covered in plastic dust, and the superglued V-fin isn't 100% symmetrical, but it's p much done only different gun/backpack configs left, there's 6 more parts on the runners. probs not gonna mess with the configs until I get a display base panel lining is a big "maybe" needs a better 📷shoot

- an issue: my gunpla workstation triples as a battlestation and a home office workspace.
