The brainworms took over and I wrote another one This one is titled: I'm Stuck #writing #creativewriting #poetry #personalpoetry

I’m stuck
I”m stuck in a rut with no end in sight
All bark no bite
I’ve got no spine
I can’t even see the light
That everyone says is there
At the end of this tunnel so deep and dark
I’ve lost my spark
I’ll never be good enough to actually leave a mark

A spineless coward is what I am-
STAND UP FOR YOURSELF MAN! DAMN!!

A pitiful fool is what you will be
If you keep on doing not what you need
I know it looks daunting
The climb so steep
But would you really rather being hearded like a goddamn sheep?!

This rut never ends i’m afraid of it all
I want to start climbing but i’m afraid of the fall
Contradicting emotions the downfall of man
I don’t wanna be lead but I don’t know where I am
Of course I look like a helpless lamb
I don’t know what i’m doing and my fate’s in my own hands

I’m lost
I’m lost in a forest it’s all so dark
I try looking to the future but I can’t see very far
I try looking to the past it’s all muddy and grey
But the present aint much better, have you seen the news today?
Disasters and pandemonium all around
It feels like the end of the world is inbound

WHAT’S EVEN THE POINT ANYMORE IT’S ALL GONE TO SHIT!!
I try and I try everyday but nothing ever comes of it
I spin the hamster wheel round and round and round
Endlessly running only to get absolutely nowhere
And then do it again
And again
And again
And again
And i’m stuck
And i’m sick
And i’m tired
And I don’t wanna do this anymore
I dont…
Want to live anymore

Allow me to regale you with another poem Title: To Be Named #writing #creativewriting #poetry #personalpoetry

To Be Named

To be named is to be known
To be named is to be labeled
To be named is to be shown
To a world that doesn’t care
About how or when or where
Or who or why or anything you do
Even when you win you still fucking lose
Because you haven’t won enough
Even enough is never enough

Because to be known is to have expectations set for you
And for them to keep going higher and higher no matter what you do

Because to be known is to be witnessed
And to be witnessed is to have your existence confirmed
And to exist…
To exist is…
Is to be…
Known

To be named… is to be known
And to be named…
Is to exist

I went into this knowing full well I don't have the output to properly complete this challenge but damn thought i'd last a lil longer than this. Anyway i'm giving up on completing the challenge entirely. I might do a few prompts here and there or just in general draw dragons but this is it for me

I procrastinated day 3 and was just gonna post it with day 4 but i've officially given up on it cause my idea didn't and I don't have the time to start over. Anyways this is my entry for Smaugust day 3 #art #creatureart #artchallenge #smaugust

IT'S DRAGON TIME PEOPLE!!! I am in fact fashionably late to this challenge but i've pretty much caught up already (somehow). The prompts i'm using are from subjectively's smaugust 2025 list. #art #creatureart #creaturedesign #artchallenge #smaugust #beginnerart #dragonart

A purple snake-like dragon with black wings and an axolotl-like fin on it's tail, backlit by the moon, with the text "Day 1 - starter"

A slender brown snake-like dragon with a broad, shovel-like head, three green fin-like wings on either side of it's body, and a tailfin at the base of it's tail, with the text

I hate how this took like 40 minutes but somehow till looks just barely lower in quality than works I spend hours on. Anyways I was bored of working on my current project so I drew this :)

a drawing of a person's face with blonde hair and his mouth sewn shut with words behind him in white saying various negative and insulting things and others in gold saying positive and uplifting things.

My absolute favorite traditional drawings I've ever done. The one on the left I call fractured world, and the other I call orderly chaos #art #beginnerart #raditinalart #sketchy #favourites

A world being slowly shattered by a large beam

Thanks for the #artshare I'm jay, an amateur artist and aspiring author Here's my faves

Floating garden with a floating gem in the center

A body with no hands, feet, or head, floating through space

A ghost with bat wings and a blue flame on it's head (a ghost fire type pokemon)

A possessed ring with eyes going all around it's surface

Hey everyone, i'm Jay, an amateur fantasy artist and aspiring manga/webtoon author. For now I draw whatever comes to mind and that mostly is just fantasy stuff. These drawings are part of a set of ancient artefacts i'm working on that represent the seven sins.

The cloak of wrath, possesed by the primordial demon of wrath

The bag of gluttony, possesed by the primordial demon of gluttony

The goblet of greed, a golden chalice possesed by the primordial demon of greed

For added context they all come from one meteor that passes once every 100 years, and do not have a mind of their own. They bind to the first creature that touches them (process can kill you if you can't handle it's power) giving said creature control of the power.

The inside of the bubble at the top of the tower (it's in the void cause art is hard) Short explanation (character limit): The "King Shard" (blue gem in the center) is a mysterious gem that falls from space during a meteor shower every 100 years that can control aspects of it's environment.
