Just got a completely free subscription to Perplexity Pro for a year because I had Revolut Premium plan (11e) month, which I was about to cancel, but they showed me this perk on cancelation screen. Also got a food delivery app premium and some fitness app. This surprised me tbh.

The most outrageous New York Times screw up to me, was when Russia mistakenly bombed the Russian city of Belgorod in 2023. The NYT falsely ran the headline that Ukraine had bombed the city, while using images of Ukrainian civilians killed by Russians in Ukraine. Since then, I dropped them entirely.
