Hey @jacobchabot.bsky.social, quick question regarding Symbie: Was Symbie originally created for the show Spidey and His Amazing Friends, and brought to the comics prior to the TV debut? Or were they created for the comics, and adapted into the TV show?

@slicedlime.bsky.social with the block_transformer component, are there plans to allow these to be defined in a registry? Something like item[minecraft:block_transformer="namespace:path"] would be a lot easier to work with for the datapack side of things

Now that there is an abundance of plastic, how long do you think it will take for plastics to be registered as a good food source, and bacteria evolving to break down this ever growing supply? 3/3

000

Zenith @zenithknig.ht · 06/04/2026

Plastics are currently really useful because they generally are not subject to bacteria breaking them down, because there was no reason to evolve that trait 2/3

Hey @hankgreen.bsky.social, I just watched the AHA episode with Akilah Hughes, and I have a question on the subject of things eating plastics. 1/3

Today's Tomodachi Life Direct actually had 3 different versions! (US, UK/EU, and Japan). The voiceover, the cuts, and the characters are all different between the 3 editions

Hey! Do you take commission requests? I've been following for while on Twitter, but I would rather ask here. (Apologies for the auto translation) 안녕하세요! 커미션 의뢰를 받으시나요? 트위터에서 오랫동안 팔로우해 왔는데, 여기서 여쭤보는 게 좋을 것 같아서요. (자동 번역이라서 어색한 부분이 있을 수 있습니다.)

My mom started mentioning Jim Henson's funeral, and I burst out laughing My first thought was "Did they put him up on strings, and puppeteer his corpse?"

Hey Thomas! I have a random question for you. I see you are credited on the wiki as designing the original Red Knight. Do you have any insight onto the Omniverse design? It seems to follow some of the design language found in the Sotoraggians, and I am wondering it is intentional

@stephenturner.us If you are going to attempt to recreate extinct species, I think it would be really cool if you establish a precedent right now: Prepending "Neo" in front of the existing taxonomic names. So in this case, "Neo Aenocyon dirus"

The Kopp-Etchells effect is today's bit of cool science I just learned. Sand sucked into helicopter rotors can end up glowing.
