i intended to work more on draubi today, but instead that old drawing of the youthful wizard i shared a few days ago decided to become a new brain worm, so i'm redrawing him and making him an OC/NPC in my d&d game. name tbd #sketch #wip #digitalart #oc #ocsketch #redraw

screenshot of a canvas in Procreate, with a reference window open of an older pencil drawing of a "youthful wizard" posed casting magic on the right. on the left is a sketch of the same character, but with multiple updates to the design and style, while maintaining a similar pose: holding a staff in his right hand, and his left hand is open facing the viewer. A yellow eye is tattooed into his open palm, and a single line is drawn from the eye, up his arm to his armpit. he looks right off screen, disgruntled. he is currently in a blank canvas state, with no clothes drawn yet.

repost with your 10 or 20 year old art 2008 vs 2014 vs 2024 (I don't have anything older than 2006 online so this is the best you get)

a pencil drawing of an elf with orange hair holding a crooked staff. he poses with his arm extended, small green magic flickers around his hand. "youthful wizard" is written in the top right corner.

a digital drawing of a half elf who poses confidently, one hand on her hip and the other leaning against her lyre. she has auburn hair messily braided over her left shoulder. she wears a corset that accentuate her chest, with thigh high purple socks, and victorian styled boots. a dark purple cape falls from her belt, and a small whip sits at her hip.

a digital drawing of a human woman who's face is partially obscured, her body is turned from the viewer and faces a tiefling who's face is also partially hidden behind her chest. he looks up at her with intense red eyes, and has dark black hair, and dark grey skin that's layered with scars.

how about a sketch that's not over a month old? brainworms for my bestest boy, Draubi. he's been in desperate need of a proper reference for years, and now that we're wrapping up the campaign that he's in, i felt it's appropriate timing.

screenshot of a sketch in the procrate app. an unfinished drawing of a half orc with his right fist clenched in a victory pose, while his left hand rests at his side. he has one tusk, and dark locs pulled back into a ponytail. the image is cropped from the waist up.

Sometimes I do scrapbook journaling! Here's a spread i did a month ago or so, for my d&d half-orc barbarian Draubi.

Picture of a scrapbook collage: several stickers featuring green ferns and plants are arranged, surrounded by blue square stickers and cut out bubbles. There is an image of a tree stump with a persons red silhouette, with white lines in a grid pattern. There are several stickers with text from top to bottom reading: "feelings", "your strength. Your strength.", "You have to go through the worst to get to the best.", And "Acceptance, is written or verbal indication that somebody agrees to an invitation or offer." The bottom text is too torn to read, purposefully.

Picture of a scrapbook collage. This page features brown papers with small printed text, as the primary background. A sunflower and daisy sticker are arranged on top of a fake bus ticket. The bottom center of the page features a black snake with a yellow and red underbelly, placed on top of a dark red patterned paper, and a small cutout of a broad leaf plant. A peach branch sticker is cutout onto some of the brown paper on the right side. There are several pieces of text reading from top to bottom: "it isn't what we say or think that defines us, but what we do. -Jane austin", "be brave, stay strong.", And "you are stronger than you think."

hedge witch that is technically a redraw from 2015-ish? i really love how i did the corset details, which are sometimes the hardest parts for me 😊

a witch with pale peach skin and purple robes holds a mandrake in one hand, and hemlock in the other. she has a dark purple pointy witches hat, and wears black heels. her corset is mustard yellow with golden roses

original drawing in question, from 2020. still don't know how to draw backgrounds, but at least some progress has been made (':

original drawing of half-kitsune, with black hair and a white tail. the colors and composition are the same, but less vibrant and fluid.

Adelaide redraw - hoping that someday something will stick and I can regularly draw again. #oc #ocart #digitalart

a half-kitsune with brown hair/fur and bright green eyes, sits posed on a stool playing with her hair. she wears a muted purple sweater, and a pink skirt with pale yellow shoes. she's smiling at the viewer.

wannabe queen of a town full of lost souls #d&dart #d&dnpc #dungeonsanddragons #fantasyart

a light brown skinned elf wearing a chiffon shawl over a strapless bikini top and short sarong wrap. she is posed with a hand on her hip contrapposto, and has a smirk on her lips. warm saturated oranges and yellows fill the background.
