The land of Jamie Farr and Max Klinger. Mad respect.

A ray of hope for the world. Greta Gerwig is fantastic and I can't wait to see what she brings to this.

I'm glad you see more clearly now. Never give the fascists an even break.

When I hung with punks, we delighted in beating up frat-rats and skinheads. You probably would not be surprised at the degree of overlap.

Aww, how sad for him. I shall deploy the world's tiniest violin for his recuperation.

It makes sense. Regrettably, I was raised speaking English, which makes little sense. Japanese vocabulary is fun. 'Twas grammar were my downfall.

Are you honestly surprised?

Everything that is done today is an echo of what has been done before. A time-honoured tradition.

Hmm. (Starts jumping up and down determinedly)

“I think we'll look back on the last decade as a time when social media gave previously marginalized groups the ability to speak directly to elites and, as a result, elites lost their minds.” --Michael Hobbes I think the reality is funnier. The marginalized were merely talking to themselves.

This collage does not say, "This is what suicide looks like." It says, "This is what depression looks like." Kurt Cobain shot up to self-medicate. So did Philip. So did Marilyn. A lot of depressed people self-medicate, and the more you use, the more likely you are to overdose, intentionally or not.

So #FuckYouAll. If you give a damn at all, you don't need me poking you; and if you don't give a damn, then #ToHellWithYou. What fools you are. Happy, secure corpses you'll be. You're approaching oblivion, *and you know it*, and you won't lift a finger to save yourselves. #ThisWayToTheWoodchipper

Oh noes, I missed another #BisonTuesday. You know what, I don't think I give a #TinShit anymore. Why should I? Congress doesn't care, the midterms are almost on us so why should they; and you out there, you certainly don't care either. You'll just bumble complacently along to your sad little graves.

It's fascinating to see that the battles shaping the course of our civilisation are being fought by distant people, in faraway places, with clearer vision than ours, who value our purported ideals more than we do.

Newsome was drifting right, courting conservative culture warriors, in preparation for a party switch; until polls told him he could make a lot of political hay by heckling Trump. And why not? He can always apologise to Republicans for it later.

With all that is going on, do not forget this. Do not forget that all this is being done in our name, by people that we collectively have chosen to lead us. Do not be obedient. Do not sit by, do not be silent, do not be complicit. Be loud. Be outraged. Fight this. For the least of us, and for all.

It's not that far off. He may have felt the most important part of him, what he cherished as his bridge out towards people and joy and acceptance and love, was draining away irrevocably. At the worst of moments I feel like that. Robin likely knew it wasn't a moment this time. That it was forever.

That would be fantastic. Book titles, etaoin shrldu, extra fingers, and oddly placed arms will really screw with people's sense of reality. The new surrealism. Oh! And odd, out of place focal lengths, and a lens that is slightly anamorphic- but only sometimes.

That's what drives me nuts, background details like that. Once seen, can't unsee.
