We moved to Virginia and I didn’t have a lot of books. I’d read The Hobbit and my mom thought this would keep me occupied. This specific edition of LotR launched life-long friendships, my career in film, and my love of writing and storytelling.

Two big milestones today: 1. I have used up an entire Muji Gel Ink 0.5mm cartridge 2. this manuscript has crossed 50k (handwritten) words.
