Elden Ring on a Nintendo handheld. Ridiculous. Imagine the next big Zelda game they're cooking up...

I love the President of Peace. I'm so glad he kept his promise for no new wars! This is so great.

I haven't seen either actor in anything before, but just based on appearance, I think this is absolutely stellar casting for Link and Zelda. Really happy that they're not A-list actors too.

Not to downplay the environmental side of things though! It's bizarre how many people are so angry about, say, the environmental impact of LLMs, while being completely blind to the impact of their food choices. AI has a litany of its own issues, but its water use compared to animal ag is tiny.

I do love the little hop boost move MK World has introduced - it lets you pull off all kinds of mini shortcuts without a mushroom!

What are your favourite Zelda mysteries? I recently covered the Goddess of the Sand - the deity depicted by Ocarina of Time's Desert Colossus. Would love to dive into other curiosities in the series!

The Desert Colossus from Ocarina of Time - a giant carved statue of a Goddess!

People are inventing random prices then getting annoyed at them. Nobody seems to know how much anything costs. This is a big issue Nintendo need to clear up - misinformation is everywhere

We're really at the "anyone who's positive about Switch 2 is a paid shill" stage of Nintendo hate rn, huh?

In the midst of yet another wave of genAI art backlash with the Studio Ghibli stuff, I thought I'd share legendary Nintendo artist Takaya Imamura's take on it, from my recent interview with him:

You can select a #Zelda theme for the Nintendo Today app which is pretty neat

Picked up a Custodes Combat Patrol earlier - I'm thinking of theming them after Soldiers/Knights of Hyrule, silver armour with gold adornments and a red plume, with overgrown ruins for bases à la Breath of the Wild.

It's been 10 years since I uploaded my first video. Thank you all so much for the support over the years - I've had so many fantastic opportunities, and met so many great people, thanks to the platform you all have provided me. Here's to 10 more!

Breath of the Wild was released 8 years ago today. Where has the time gone?

Hey, that image isn't generative AI. It's an image of Link taken from official Majora's Mask artwork, upscaled, and then recoloured for the thumbnail!
