I asked Google based on all the technologies and their trajectory of privacy invasion (surveillance, mind reading, etc.) when would the mark of the beast be implemented. It said most likely by 2040. This is interesting because there is a once in a lifetime 2040 Golden Planetary Alignment.

Flattery has become the go to narrative for customer service in the USA instead of knowing the customer's desires, needs, and budgets. The reason for the flattery is because prices everywhere are so high that sales agents and retail staff know that customers cannot afford their products.

I have a feeling that the way the devil will tempt people to take the mark of the beast is through database corruption, identity theft, hacking, and breaches. Meaning, he will spell your name wrong across databases, merge it with others, say you don't exist, or give your identity to someone else.
