pretty sure auto will let you auto-spend rings when collecting em so you can hold items without as much speed loss, whereas manual is like normal where you can use rings freely to keep your speed during drifts n such, theres probably a lot of extra balancing between both that we’re not aware of yet

AM2R makes really awful use of its screen real estate (especially in bosses) despite having so much to work with, and samus returns is alright but the original game’s format is made much worse with the forced upgrade-based progression of more modern titles+metroid fights way overstay their welcome

‪Similar to my Zavok spritework, this design is definitely meant to have a healthy balance of modern vector (crossworlds, etc) but with some IDW traits mixed in (longer body, more noodley arms) since the 3d model does leave a bit to be desired‬

the whole loose pants + tied jacket combo I’ve been doing with zek lately is very much intended to be a modern equivalent of godly robes, I love hanging/flowing elements and it’s designed for him to be comfortable and move easily (good for if he wanted to spar with a pal)
