It’s been crazy the number of people that I’ve known for almost 20 years stopped talking to me, or if I run into them in town, never ask after my child since she came out. It’s also been surprising the people that I barely know who have approached me with absolute kindness. Small town everyone knows

Berkeley was where I learned that families can be homeless too. Lived there for 6 months and walked past MLK Civic Ctr park and saw people reading to their kids and tucking them in at night and being forced to pack up every morning by the police every day to/from BART. I was stunned, I had no idea.

Especially since the position changes are laser focus specific to protect their candidate- I think it’s interesting that some are getting angry that Dems understand the assignment, and we know they didn’t support the primary winner of it wasn’t their choice.

I can’t wait to try those. When my kid was a little she “invented” the idea of meat cubes and described exactly how they should look, and when I saw the sign at Arby’s I had to take a pic and send to her. She can’t wait to see if they fulfill her 5 yo self’s description.

We’re told to cook on high, medium, low, and the in-between- but especially with gas, you’ll never get it exactly the same every time. I know in the UK they have hob numbers to cook on, but they might be the same as HML except maybe for electric.
