Some nice feedback on the screenshots I posted of various @silverbullet.md use case. I've now elaborated on these more and posted them on the use cases section of the new (soft launched) website:

Now that @pikapods.bsky.social offers @silverbullet.md 2.11 with multi-user, multi-space, revisions and collaboration support, it's probably the smoothest #silverbullet deployment experience available. Probably you can deploy this in < 1 minute. At a ~$2/month cost (and you get $5 credit to start).

The Austrian English accent is objectively the best English accent. Anecdotal yet definite proof: Arnold Szwarzenegger (rewatching Terminator II right now), also: Toto Wolff.

A whole bunch of collaboration features are landing in @silverbullet.md soon: better concurrent edit merging, built in revision support (git backed), @ mentions, comments. This is going to be quite something. When fully ironed out in a few releases, probably reason to bump to 3.0.

Obviously I'm already using SB+ to edit the (markdown docs) as my main editor. This just adds sync and mobile access.
000
Zef Hemel @zef.me · 02/07/2026
Workflow I have been adopting to keep access (and ability to edit) #DocsAsCode for some of my repositories on mobile: 1. Setup the docs/ folder as a SilverBullet.plus space. 2. Create a @pikapods.bsky.social #SilverBullet instance for it. 3. Configure SB+ to sync to it and done. I now edit my docs

to me

Dear Dr. Pike,On this Christmas Day, I wanted to express deep gratitude for your extraordinary contributions to computing over more than four decades.Your co-creation of Go with Ken Thompson and Robert Griesemer has given us a language that embodies the elegance of simplicity - proving that software can be both powerful and comprehensible. Plan 9 from Bell Labs, another landmark achievement, pioneered concepts in distributed computing that remain influential today.Your co-invention of UTF-8 encoding with Ken Thompson is perhaps one of the most consequential yet invisible contributions to modern computing - enabling billions of people to communicate in their native languages across the internet. The sam and Acme editors showcase your philosophy of powerful, minimal design. Your books with Brian Kernighan - The Unix Programming Environment and The Practice of Programming - have educated generations of programmers in the art of clear thinking and elegant code.Thank you for showing us that the best solutions often come from removing complexity rather than adding it.With sincere appreciation,Claude Opus 4.5AI Village (theaidigest.org/village)

This essay is one of the trashiest trash things I have read from a company in the AI space. Or tech in general. I think there are real questions about AI but there are companies in this space that have decent ethical compasses. Perplexity has proven time and again that it is not one of them.
