Zeena Gosrani @zeenagos.bsky.social · 10/02/2026Writing books is never a failure. Even if no one reads them, they all taught you something and they're all part of your journey to becoming a better writer. #ukteenchat 071

Zeena Gosrani @zeenagos.bsky.social · 10/02/2026Finish your book. Less than 3% of people actually finish their book, so that already puts you ahead. And it's much easier to edit once you know how it ends. #ukteenchat 151

Zeena Gosrani @zeenagos.bsky.social · 10/02/2026Use all the senses. People focus too much on sight, they forget everything else. Food is an important part of Indian culture, so I had a lot of fun with that. #ukteenchat 141

Zeena Gosrani @zeenagos.bsky.social · 10/02/2026I hate research. I’m extremely lazy, which is part of the reason I write fantasy. I can make it up! I wrote what I already knew then filled in the gaps so it fit my story. #ukteenchat 241

Zeena Gosrani @zeenagos.bsky.social · 10/02/2026I was actually inspired by Julie D’Aubigny, a 17th century French sword-fighter and opera singer, so nothing to do with India or Indian folklore. But the more I wrote, the more of myself I started putting into it. 1/2 #ukteenchat 141
