I plant them on purpose. The flowers make a lovely jelly that tastes like honey and sunshine, and the leaves are tasty in salads or soups just like spinach.

I have school stress dreams still too! I don't know where my locker is, don't have my schedule or know what class I'm on my way to, forgot my books, etc.. It's so stressful! High school was a long time ago, our brains need to move on! 😂

Canned beans and tomatoes, because it's always a good time for chili. I love those instant packets of Indian-style lentils or the 3-minute "boil in the bag" Japanese curry. I always keep a good stash of several types of rice.

Made "clear out freezer space" chili, which included frozen shredded zucchini, diced bell peppers, and summer tomatoes, plus canned beans, pickled jalapeños, and fresh carrots. Four cans of beans stretch pretty far with all the veggies!
