This is actually my second 8-bit Block Man, the first one (shown below on the left) is from 2018 I believe

Whilst I was dealing with the nonsense with my ceiling last week, I watched a video about the design of Mega Man 1 and noticed something that I hadn't before. The pose isn't 1:1 but it's similar enough that it's a cute little callback

This is my life at the moment. My bedroom ceiling started dripping right above where I work and now it's gotten like this. Because it's Sunday we won't be able to get someone 'round to have a look at it until tomorrow. Fuck my big gay chungus life.

It's present on his Mega Man 8 art and the stuff for the arcade games so it's a little confusing why the detail was omitted during the production of the Mega Man 10 art. Maybe an instruction from Inafune or some fuck??

I really don't understand why the back of the "window" panel in Proto Man's shield wasn't illustrated in his MM10 artworks. It really ought to be visible in both due to it's positioning but it's just not there.

From the Dual Override official website, sounds like Proto Man may have some melee capability with the use of his shield?? Interesting!!

I like that in the MM9 intro, they made a unique sprite of Magma Man since he doesn't fire whilst standing in his fight.

This character is very cute, I remember seeing the art that this was based on and immediately thinking of making a NES mugshot based on it. Shark Woman is a @78nine.bsky.social character #MegaMan #pixelart #ロックマン #Zedicart

It's mostly in the size of the boots and the length of the torsos, here I've scaled MM9 Mega to MM10 Mega's boot and MM9 Proto to MM10 Proto's torso It's not an exact science and there's probably examples that don't follow the trend

What if we invited Proto Man too Silly thing where I tried to give the MM9 key art poses MM10 proportions. Took way too long because someone was too precious with the line art. #MegaMan #digitalart #ロックマン #ProtoMan #ブルース #Zedicart

Makes me wonder why this method wasn't used for the weapons in 9+10 that used white as the base, it means the secondary parts on his helmet look very empty [Attached image put together using MM25 scans]

Zedicon Hoyrse (but 💀 SPOOKY 💀 ) 🐴🏳️‍🌈 @zedicon.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

An observation from the MMV promo art: For weapons that use white as the secondary, instead of just using white and the shadow colour on Mega Man's helmet, Inafune used the white as the highlight, a lighter colour for the base and then the shadows were as normal. Never noticed this before either

An looking at the MM9 promo art: The cyan parts of Mega Man's helmet have an extra shade of cyan between the white and base colour in his key art + the MM9 box art. Think this is reference to the MM5 Famicom box art as it's the only example I can from Inafune's art. Never noticed this before
