In my grief I'm left to wonder, is this the same night sky that bid you farewell? Did the stars shine for you, as they do for me now?

Not to sad post on main but I only lost my little friend two days ago and I couldn't even hold onto him in my dreams, I laid him under the tree after a series of one last moments and he was gone. I'm still not ready to let go.
