This was my drum setup for recording drums to the 4-track cassette recorder. One old Beta 57 microphone out front. #indiemusic #ludwigdrums

Lots of Riesling babies! Maybe I’ll actually get grapes this year. This is the fifth year for these vines.

Always good to get out and hear awesome live music. Tambourina (from Kalamazoo, MI) is always a favorite. The Lucky Wolf is a fantastic venue in Paw Paw

I know this post will mess it up, but I love the fact that I had 77, 88, and 99 for a short time. ;)

I’ve made a few potential album covers for this year’s February Album Writing Month but the side-eye from this cow when I took its picture is pulling on me. #indie #indiemusic #fawm #fawmchallenge #diymusician

Made something new - sourdough orange/cinnamon rolls which are delicious! We have always loved Pillsbury Orange Danish rolls but my wife is gluten intolerant. She approved.

Currently reliving the amazing Beat concert I saw in Detroit with their livestream concert. So cool to hear these songs live again. #adrianbelew #tonylevin #stevevai #dannycarrey #kingcrimson

Yeah, I was baking bread way before the pandemic and have never stopped. Because #bread is delicious.

Thinking back to the fun I had in February and looking forward to making more music. This setup (90's Peavey Stereo Chorus with a SM57 and a phone mic) gave me some of the best clean tone I have ever recorded. :) (I also used the phone mic on my album cover.)

Peavey Stereo Chorus with a regular mic and a phone mic. Seriously chimey.
