The Tucker trade and Bregman free agency seemingly marks the end of the Astros' championship window. Send not to know for whom the trashcan tolls / It tolls for thee.

Maria (2024-Netflix) is a Maria Callas biopic starring Angelina Jolie. It focuses on the last week of her life with exposition through flashbacks and hallucinations. The pacing is slow and meditative but is held together by a great performance from Jolie who knows a thing about the life of a diva.

Sorry but I'm just not feeling Tyson-Paul tonight. It seems more like a circus act than a sporting event and I've had enough of circus acts for a while.

First thoughts on fantasy impact of the Rays' 2025 ballpark move. Steinbrenner Field shares the OF dimensions of the Bronx. Upgrade Aranda and both Lowes (health assumed 🫢) and whoever else TBR has in strong side platoons (Isaac?). I'm out on Taj Bradley who couldn't prevent the longball anywhere.

Had a lovely afternoon with three generations of family and one small dog at the new India Basin Waterfront Park in Hunter's Point. SF Parks and Rec did a nice job with this one.

I swapped icon positions of Bluesky and that other app on my phone. It's a start but old habits etc.
