I never played many video games, but this game changed what I thought a video game could be. I had thought they were mindless, titillating violence. Bastion taught me that video games could tell a story in a way no other medium could, and that has shaped my taste in them ever since.

I wonder if the author missed some of the themes of the second and third season. The most cutting point to me was the cost of compassion. All the "good" characters sacrificed themselves to help others, while the evil characters were just complacent, and none of it made a difference.

I wonder about how much the language models used on keyboards affect online textual dialects. Like, I often mix up me/my on my phone keyboard because the model auto-"corrects" to the wrong thing. Perhaps learning to read past this error in others causes me to internalize the error myself.

Though, talking to elected officials, it actually does do something. When they see people take to the streets, they know there's popular support for those values and policies. It gives them clearance to fight for those things without being primaried.

I followed the WPATH standards and advice of doctors. The process took years, as is typical. I did my research, and research overwhelmingly supports transition as the best treatment for gender dysphoria. It has just been politicized. I hope you never have trans children, for their sake.
