I lost my house during it. Couldnt buy a job at the time. Adjustable Rate Mortgages had raised payments several hundred dollars a month. Gas was 4 bucks a gallon. The zoomers are about to find out what a bad economy really looks like.

It reminds me of 2008, when people got mad that they might have to help their neighbors with their house payments. They refused, the houses went vacant, the property values went down, and those selfish people had to pay anyway, through lowered net wealth.
