currently lamenting over the fact that there was supposed to be a sequel to neopets: the darkest faerie that got canned. FUUUCK

this has taken way longer than promised, but i'm pretty much done with the documentation process. here's a taste of what i've found in N:TDF. this is a part of an unused sidequest that kendrick (the techo in meridell's army recruitment center) gives you in ACT 1

late night test of a (mostly) successful character model import! it's somewhat presentable, but his model freaks out from certain angles & i'm not sure why. btw the edit i made was making tormund's face more akin to his vision scape model (from the cg cutscenes)

i think it's about time i dust off my long dead tumblr account & make a post abt the unused sidequests & dialogue for neopets: the darkest faerie. i'll be sprinkling in bits of my own speculation on the unused content throughout, so stay tuned for my foray into neopets "analysis"

i've been playing this game for a month straight and i think i can officially say that i have done absolutely EVERYTHING there is to offer. like actually no stone left unturned for real this time. finally, i can REST

i think i might genuinely just have a sickening obsession with this game. i'm doing a third playthrough via retroachievements & i'm already at 36% despite only having started only 6 hours ago.

this is also my way of saying that as of today i've 100%ed this game... or at least nearly have done so. i will never get the package delivery quest from postmaster tilbar in altador bc he's inside the wrong asset group and unloads when you get too close to him 🪦

neopets the darkest faerie is such a mess of a game that you can't even get the other half of the total chest count in meridell treasure vault without opening up the four extra chests in king skarl's treasury (an unused room in meridell castle only accessible via HACKS)

found a pretty unhinged archived guide for the darkest faerie that pretty much no longer exists. i really love that they have to specify that they're about to curse mid-guide. also whatever all this other strange bullshit is

felt evil and considered posting potential man slander on here but with big. i can't bring myself to though because slander shit sucks half the time. with that said, i do think that a majority of the sоnic cast are potential men *puts hands up like i said smth controversial*

apologies if this comes across like negative posting, but i'm kind of at the point now where i'm finding it increasingly difficult to stay invested in any sоnic character esp in recent times

just played this frustrating dogshit. not the worst game ever but definitely the most annoying game i've played in a while. the only aspect of this game that i genuinely liked were the cutscenes and that's literally it. sucks too bc i really like the movie that it's based on

me late at night sleep deprived with delusional thoughts i hadn't thought before abt big that likely don't have much ground to stand on in terms of analysis but then i'm like "wait... hold on. i might cook?" but then i loop back to thinking i'm just crazy

haven't said anything on sonic's 35th since the charity stream, but man this anniversary was kind of a big load of nothing. i mean i suppose i'd prefer that over another 06 level disaster, but the fact that our only new game so far is sonic pico park is not. great

im sry every time i see big being depicted as "tuff" i just think of what his character actually like. this is literally just a guy who looks like he'd go "i frew up" whenever he's even slightly anxious. (no shade to anyone that does depict him this way. i cant take it srsly tho)
