I'll be doing an AMA on r/GrimdarkEpicFantasy on 4/2! Come on down and ask some questions, and stick around there to hang out. It's a dope spot and they're currently doing a group read of @anthonyryan.bsky.social modern classic The Pariah!

I have a 2 year old so it usually takes me some time to finish a book, but damn, I DEVOURED this in 2 days. Dark as black with some A+ dialogue, action, and character work. A few nitpicks here and there but I'm calling the library ASAP to get the rest of @annasmithwrites.bsky.social books

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Darker than black and drowns you in an ocean of blood while offering just enough light and hope to keep going. This is what great grimdark looks like

I wrote a review about @annasmithwrites.bsky.social GODBLIND ☠️🩸 Dark as hell, relentlessly brutal, and perfect for fans of Abercrombie, Sebastien de Castell, and Full Metal Alchemist Full review on @sffinsiders.com and below! ⬇️🔽⬇️

"My name is @shaunalawless.bsky.social and I write phrases like 'The red hair shone against her pale skin like a flame burning on white ash'" I'm jealous of her talent but damn, this book rules

@annasmithwrites.bsky.social Godblind is fantastic. Notes of Abercrombie as well as the short chapters featured in works like The Greatcoats. I'm about 60% in and absolutely furious I have to go back to work instead of binging it right here and now

Once again thinking about how disappointed I was rereading this. ADORED it as a kid and it's unreadable now

Do you wanna see the interview that critics are calling "charismatic and sexy as hell" and "insightful, deep, and hilarious"? Well, that's not the one I'm promoting, but it'd be cool if you watched this

Just finished "Stones" the @annasmithspark.bsky.social story in the 40th @grimdarkmagazine.bsky.social and I just have to reiterate, Anna has the best prose in the world "A luck charm and a charm against evil and a woman. There, dancing, on the beach, in the moonlight, beautiful, just calling..."
