I think for the PSO2 Guardian vs Destiny Guardian matchup, it would ultimately come down to if the PSO2 Guardian can kill the Destiny Guardian’s Ghost so that they stay dead (which I think they could). As for Guardian vs Warrior of Light, I’m not well versed in FF14 lore so I got nothing there lol.

Feels like a lot of people are giving up on PSO2 over the past few months, even moots/friends, the usual negativity. And the fact another official NGS content creator gave up on PSO2, which is already worrying enough but I also know for a fact doomers will eat that news up

Yeah I still haven’t forgotten how that one JP player (who I believe was a part of the NGS content Creator program) announced they were giving up on PSO2 in March which just triggered a domino effect of what felt like literally every other JP player doomposting about NGS.

The problem is even if not intended, there will still be drama with you “moving on” from NGS. Doomers CAN and WILL eat this announcement up to use as ammo to doompost since you were an official content creator. You don’t have to upgrade your gear every single time a new set is introduced, y’know. Especially armors; like you can probably keep Evalto Armor and its upgrade for close to a year before really needing to upgrade. I would know; I’m still running Belfes armor, which is weaker than Evalto armor.
