No worries ☺️ hope it’ll be helpful, and good luck!!

I don’t know if any of this makes sense 😭 but I guess whatever you feel works best for the story will probably be the best choice for us as readers too!!

On the other hand, I’ve read a fic where music was a huge part of the story, but the author never actually included any lyrics. The descriptions alone were more than enough to convey the feeling and tone of the song, and honestly, it worked really well too

In most of the fics I’ve read, lyrics were usually written in italics between the descriptions, and when they were included, they often had some kind of connection to what was happening in the scene. So I guess it really depends on what they add to the story

Honestly, I think it depends on whether the lyrics have a particular importance or meaning to the story If we’re seeing it from Megumi’s POV, for example, including the lyrics could show that he pays attention to them or that they resonate with him in some way I’m not sure either though 😭-

«Sukuna tugged away the ribbon. He set it aside, and pulled the wrapping paper away carefully in a way that drove Megumi to the edge. "You can rip it, you know." Sukuna snorted. "I told you that last Christmas and you ignored me. This is payback."» Were you trying to kill me?? 😭😭

YOU NOTICED OMG I MADE IT SO SUBTLE, I WASNT EVEN SURE ANYONE WOULD NOTICE Honestly, it's one of my favorite scenes in Firehouse, the moment Sukuna gives Megumi his repaired necklace back!! I cried SO MUCH I simply COULDN'T not draw it AND THEN THE CALLBACK TO THAT SCENE IN THE FINAL CHAPTER AAAAH
