Made a standalone compatible version of my VRChat avatar, it's below 15k tri, one material and got colour, normal, metallic texture maps. It's medium performance rank on quest! Manual atlas bakes aren't too scary but was a bit of a pain to figure out.

Fucking bird crashed into my window and flew into my apartment. It seemed pretty dazed but I was able to scoop it up and put it down on my balcony floor without too much trouble, put down some water beside it.

It's almost a year since my old apartment burned down. I want to again thank everyone who kept my spirits up and donated to me so I could survive and start rebuilding my life. I still have a mountain of unprocessed feelings and anxiety about this, shit fucking sucks, but at least I'm still here.

When I was a kid I was sleeping over at a friend's place in the countryside, it had recently rained a ton so there was this huge pool of water on the ground. We flipped a frisbee upside down and used it as a floating Beyblade arena on the water. That was, and still is fucking awesome.

During Black Friday in November the offer to get an extra 3 months VRC+ for free if you buy a years worth was only available if you've never gotten it before, which is insane to me. Why are VRChat punishing their old and current supporters? Who buys a whole year before even trying out a month first?

During Halloween in October VRChat sold this bundle for little over 10 USD, so you needed to buy credits for 15 USD to get it. This was quickly reduced in price and people was refunded the difference after people complained, but it being a thing in the first place feels very predatory.

VRChat halloween companion bundle with the original pricing, it was eventually reduced to 1200 credits (1080 if you had vrc+).

Just got the keys to the apartment. Gotta figure out furniture, wait for my router to arrive, get a bed and then I can start living there. I'm stressed out and it's a bit more expensive than I thought, but I'll be fine somehow. Not homeless anymore!!

Less than a week away from getting the keys to my new apartment. Been sleeping in my sister's living room for almost 5 months now, time sure flies. I miss the stuff my late father left me, I miss my games, I miss the hoodie my partner left me. I'm so thankful for the things that got saved though.

My slime trackers just arrived! Setup was a little weird but I got through it. Definitely need to look over the settings later because it's working mostly well in VRChat, but not well enough I'd wanna use it until I've sorted it out. These are neat but I miss the plug and play with vive trackers.

If you're using gogoloco, change these tracking states. I've run into this issue (using adjusted muscle settings and not) and this seemed to fix it.

After some steam rebinding and weird setups, I can play VRChat with my right hand again... kinda! I have to force one-handed mode with opening the action menu by tapping the power button on the tracker to move around, but this works for me until my wrist heals!
