To add, in Tarrant County our favorite clown Bo French (GOP chair) was recently moaning on social media about the apartments up in Alliance or Haslet or whatever. They don’t like “those ppl”…Sorry bro only home rule cities in TX can regulate land use in that way. So they cant stop development.

I wonder if a low key reason is the forefront of the exclusionary type of suburbia is now mostly unincorporated county with no zoning, so no jurisdiction for nimbys to whine. Contrast, suburban municipalities are getting old and have to adapt and are more demographicallypolitically diverse now.

I think instead of trying to keep obsolete blast furnaces alive, there should be research into making more raw steel from direct reduced iron or with hydrogen or whatever. Basically a process that fits into first-world economic reality where steel is mostly made in small recycling oriented mills.

BOTW felt like a good successor to the OG Zelda. Playing it reminded me of being a kid and first experiencing the NES one. Like it’s a big open world what do I even do? As an aside, I forgot the Lynels were around then too. Lots of monsters here that should come back IMO.

I think having two separate powertrains inherently costs more. Charging tech is looking like we’ll reach a stage where you could plug in and get 100 miles worth in less than 5 minutes. Once that exists and charging is like pumping gas, EV’s win.
