Sorry to hear of the passing of Lena Martell. Her version of One Day At A Time was HUGE in Scotland in late 1979 & a big favourite of my dad’s. Dad himself died in October 2018 and we played Charlie Landsborough’s version at his funeral. buff.ly/Mb1xBgV

Yesterday we went to a “sleeping well” workshop and got various tips about sleeping better. The plan then was to go to the pub where we first met and enjoy a burger & chips, but it was far too crowded and all the tables were reserved. So today we’ll make our own burger & chips.

My neighbour (a senior woman) has had a video doorbell installed by her granddaughter’s fella. She didn’t want the pictures sent to her phone so they go to her granddaughter’s instead. They both therefore gets alerted every time I come home from work. Which is usually 23.00. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Today’s streaming discovery is Speakerine, which I’m watching on ITVX. If you liked BBC’s The Hour, this is worth tracking down; it’s effectively the French equivalent, roughly the same time period and everything. Nice touches to please the TV presentation enthusiasts too 😊

When in Edinburgh Zaph & Groupie would highly recommend Splash & Glow, where we got to dress up like inflatable animals and splatter UV paint at canvases like the big kids we really are. (Groupie’s creation included here as she’s touched hers up with a Sharpie to finish it)
