Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 15/02/2025I wanted to post this yesterday, but I got massively sick and wasn't able to. So I wish you a happy belated Valentine's Day. 021
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 11/02/2025I went 1/4, two of my losses were quite bad, but I am not mad because my win was against an 1850, where I blundered an exchange in the opening and still fought on. The remaining loss was against another 1850, we both played a good game, sadly I missed a knight fork in an equal endgame. 010
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 11/02/2025In two hours, another of the monthly rapid tourneys I am playing starts. My brilliant mind wanted to play some blitz games to get warmed up… I lost all of them. Self-confidence in my chess skills is an all time low.😬 020
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 10/02/2025The carnival celebrations in Germany are coming up in a few weeks, so it's time for the little pawns to get their costumes ready. 000
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 18/12/2024Went to see Wicked today. I stumbled and fell to the floor while getting to the restroom. Scraped open the entire length of my forearm, and both of my knees are badly bruised. I could not defy gravity. 000
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 14/12/2024Hi, I am playing my first classical tourney in early January, and I would like to play a few classical training games beforehand (Chesscom rapid rating around 1400, Lichess 1700). Anyone interested? 120
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 10/12/2024It's finished. Don't ask me why there are saltwater animals in a pond. It's a painting of a chess-playing frog; logic doesn't apply here. 060
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 07/12/2024(WIP) Here's how far I've gotten today. There is still a lot of work to be done before it is finished. Also, I have yet to come up with a name for them, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know. 000
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 07/12/2024I truly love this one!! I hope the finished artwork will be just as lovely as the sketch is. 000
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 03/12/2024I am certain spoilsport FIDE has a rule against that, but just imagine you turn up to your chess game and your opponent brought a clock covered with sparkling holographic chess stickers.✨ 020
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 28/11/2024Despite my deep dislike for painting landscapes, I nevertheless decided to give it an attempt after seeing the paintings by LandscapesByMike on Etsy. Due to my lack of experience, I had to entirely rework it three times. It was exhausting. Probably won't paint another landscape for quite a while. 130
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 26/11/2024Form today's game. My brain did a big oopsi. I missed the pin and blundered a bishop. I played Qb1. I disliked the qweentrade because I was scared that the pawns would march down the board. I recognized that if I allowed Qb4+, I would lose my horsey, so I played Qb1, still protecting that square. 100
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 23/11/2024Was in the mood to draw something cute, and now I'm seriously considering ordering them as stickers to cover everything I own with them. 3170
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 21/11/2024Been reading Silman's complete endgame course, and I am starting to see results. Take the 14 hundreds to the endgame. 030
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 20/11/2024I am not 100% happy with some of the line weights, but I am too lazy to correct them. Photo references: Maria Emelianova (photochess) 1182
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 19/11/2024Really proud of how well I played that endgame. My visit to Saya seems to have worked wonders. 020
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 18/11/2024Oh man, I wanted to play a tournament tomorrow and only now realized that I forgot to register. Someone up for playing me tomorrow evening? We can play on the platform of your choice; my rating is roughly 1400 chesscom rapid. 000
Zannah @zannah8128.bsky.social · 13/11/2024Hi, since I'm new here, I will do a short about me: I am a 24-year-old CS student. I got into chess in 2022 (due to the Sinquefield Cup incident). While I'm not particularly good at chess, this newfound passion has reignited my love for art. So that's what I'll post: bad chess and decent #chessart 061
