Ive always been a huge sucker for pop-sci vids on STEM topics that're far outside my wheelhouse, with progress on the millennium prize problems being a favorite of mine to look out for. The thought that we might only ever get to solve one of them ourselves makes all this feel like a funeral.

uhhgh AI "solving" Navier-Stokes is so depressing. I keep seeing comparisons to when DeepBlue beat humans at chess for the first time, but this is totally different. You can't just re-solve something like N-S. It's not a sport. Human names are being robbed out of future history books.

Also in the zip is a collection of scraped discord chat logs from 2016, all formatted into separate text files. I was a dogshit person to be around 10 years ago, and with these logs are all recorded txt files, it's incredibly easy for anyone to edit what's in there to make me look even worse.

The church already allowed non-practicing homosexuals though. There's no LDS rule that says Suarez has to tell on his companion for having a temptation; they're not defying the church in anyway here. The implication afaik is that Hartley will willingly stay celibate within the LDS church.
