I wonder, any Genshin fans in here? Currently writing a fanfic for it, which is daunting, as the franchise is massive & the fandom even more so. Oh well, no pain, no gain! #GenshinImpact #ChiLumi #ScaraMona #JeanLuc #VenBara #AmTher #EiMiko #WritingCommunity

A trio of amazing #OC girls all with names themed around birds (kinda... Dove was the chocolate bar, but it still counts!) drawn by the ever talented @vistrology.bsky.social Dove (center) is mine from Classique. Suzume (left) & Tsubame (right) are @icecoldsea.bsky.social from Shokugeki no Kimiko.

I'm legit surprised I'm so excited for Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. If after that initial (horrible) trailer for the 1st movie you would have told me we would have gotten a full trilogy, with each entry more faithful to the games, I would have outright scoffed.

Zancrowe @zancrowe.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

So, so very true. You can even forcefeed them ships they claim they won't like until they end up loving them.

7. If I had an unlimited budget (or even just a modest budget) I would so buy the rights to Food Wars / Shokugeki no Soma & just retcon Central & BLUE right out of there! S3 would be Nouvelle. S4 & S5 Classique. Dove & Ruthie, would be canon; & it would all spin-off from here:

010

Zancrowe @zancrowe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

6. Quotes! Dove: "It's a skill issue. You can't tell what I did because you don't know how to reach this level. This is what separates you and I." Ruth: "This is Totsuki. And in here, I don't care how much of a bigshots you all are, this is my kingdom. I make the rules."

110

Zancrowe @zancrowe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

5-B. Ruthie, on the other hand, prefers the hot summer sun. Growing up in New York, she adores beaches; & summertime is her absolute favorite time of the year. She already asked Auntie Erina for a beachfront property & she said "yes". Dove then said "no".

100

Zancrowe @zancrowe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

5-A. Season 5 cause that's when Asahi was introduced & Erina was miserable. Oh? Climate! Dove is more fond of Winter. The cold, comfy, snowy atmosphere is her favorite, & any excuse to just cuddle romantically with Asahi, or to baby the heck out of Loren or Ruth is worth it.

100

Zancrowe @zancrowe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

4-B. Like mother, like daughter, Ruthie "doesn't do friendships", or so she claims (she is just a horrible friend really). But, try as she might, Kurai from Tenmaku Cinema seems hell-bent on being her friend, & Ruthie is finding it harder & harder to make the young actress quit.

100

Zancrowe @zancrowe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

4-A. 🤣 Dove? Friends? Ha! But genuinely, Dove used to be quite the social butterfly, then lost all that, spent 3 years training to wreck Erina, & now is just... confused. At BLUE, she is sorta friendly with Shouko. Does that count? Sorry Lea. The plot demands it. 🫥

100

Zancrowe @zancrowe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

3. Favorite artwork? Dove has a notable selection, & when someone draws your character, I'm sorry, I can't choose. I love every single one of them. @/whatermelown25 @/vistrology @/xitrum1902 @/ice_cold_sea & @/Demonata5 if you include fanfics! Baby Ruth doesn't have any yet... someday. 😤

100

Zancrowe @zancrowe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

2-B. Ruthie won't admit it. If you ask her, she'll mention her mom, or dad, or Erina, or Soma, or even Loren; but her actual favorite is her Creepy Auntie Nao's "Jet Black Curry Laksa" because it tastes great & it clears her sinuses. You have weird tastes too, don't judge her!

100

Zancrowe @zancrowe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

2-A. While you'd assume Dove's favorite dish would be any in the True Gourmet menu, the real answer is Asahi's "Batter-Fried Chicken w/ Boudin Noir", because it's a dish he made just for her, & she's a sucker for dumb details like this. 2nd home made meal he made her in fact!

100

Zancrowe @zancrowe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

1-B. "Baby" Ruth also got her name from a chocolate bar, & the joke only worked since it had "Baby" in the name. It was adorable when she was 3 to be called this. It annoys her when she's 15. She's not a baby! Still, most of my OCs are either puns, references, or ideally, both!

100

Zancrowe @zancrowe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

1-A. Dove, like her family, got her name from a chocolate bar. & her last name, Dillinger, from the famous bank robber of the Depression Era. The idea was to keep it simple. Just make it a pun & make it connect to a food theme somehow. I didn't expect to adore this girl as much as I do.

100

Zancrowe @zancrowe.bsky.social · 29/11/2024

Help a writer out! Since I am writing both Something BLUE (Dove) & Couverture (Ruthie), I'm gonna answer these for both generations of the Dillinger girls! Gonna use likes from another place too! Yay cheating! #BlueSky #OC #FanArt #BlackFriday
