I'm pretty sure the majority of things people are getting mad at is just bot posting. A "hot take" from twitter getting 100k likes/ high engagements is at the same level of opening your window, shouting something offensive, then giving yourself a pat on the back about 60,000 times.

It's def a small amount of jealousy where I can enjoy more stuff on those kinds of levels. It's really just Xenoblade, Yoshi's Island, to a lesser degree, Tales of Symphonia and Bomberman. Yes, I like Bomberman more than Undertale lol.

It's also kind of weird, cause the levels of emotion I feel for Xenoblade is maybe comparable to Undertale fans. There are tracks in Xenoblade that still make me tear up. Why am I talking about this? The way fans talk about Undertale, I wish I could apply the same to Undertale like I do Xenoblade.

I do wonder if my opinion on Undertale would change if I played it as a teenager vs an adult. I HATED Undertale at first, but have grown to appreciate it (did all 3 routes). I'll never play it again but still listen to the music.

This makes it kind of fucking weird when trying to match up the dex and dex numbers, so you have Pokemon with a "Sinnoh Dex Number", but it only applies to Platinum, not Diamond/Pearl, and that's really fucking annoying.

I think the ID fuckery was because of Megas, but displacing ID number with Dex number seems like such a fools mistake. There had to be countless other ways to manage that. For the Reg/Nat dex fuckery. Gen 4 was the first where the 3rd version dex changed/added more from the 2 base version.

Context: Gen 4 is when they started to get real fucky with the "Regional Dex/National Dex" non-sense. For gen 6 onward, they changed the ID system so it meant that internal ID of a Pokemon no-longer matched their National Dex number.

It's been over a decade of watching the corpse of Halo rot into the ground, but somehow, it keeps surprising me with how many other ways Halo can keep rotting. Activision in control of Halo is just like, just let it die. Only Halo 1-3 exist, maybe Reach and ODST. The lowest low an IP can get.
