They really said "let's adapt fantasy epics but only have the budget of 1$" lmao cry sob. All I can ever imagine when this happens is "what if it got the budget of Re:zero or JJK" 😮‍💨 I'm personally not a huge fan of red river but I still think it deserved way better 🫩

Ya the interviews made me so sad 😭 let shoujo lovers live....Also I hope you like the Manga! Its very sweet, uplifting and almost every single character is likeable! I esp love Noriko and I feel they 100% did her dirty in the anime...

Follow me on twitch 👀 @zambicandy.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Me too! I also wish the animation was better but I could deal with it if everything else was done well enough. But apparently they rly wanted to remove Noriko having to learn the language T_T ???

Follow me on twitch 👀 @zambicandy.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Taking out more of the action* theres still action.

010

Follow me on twitch 👀 @zambicandy.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Why even bother making an adaptation if you're going to dumb it down THAT much. I still can't believe they gave Noriko the fucking truck meme. 🤦

Follow me on twitch 👀 @zambicandy.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Excuse me? The original work did just fine having many action scenes lol Women are fully capable of watching any shonen. But sure, A language barrier is TOO hard to do. A lot of characters is TOO many for us to follow. 🙄

Follow me on twitch 👀 @zambicandy.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

I am still so annoyed at the adaptation for from far away/kanata kara. They absolutely do not give a shit about respecting the original work. Taking out things that ppl loved about the series & insulting fans by thinking we can't fucking follow along because keeping the action would make it shonen?

It fucking sucks that you can have all the money you'll ever need and you're still unwilling to share even 1% of it with people in need. Billionaires are the world's worst losers.
