T-Racks 5 (standalone) mystery solved! The "Audio" folder it creates is *conformed* from the originals to the project audio sample rate (likely the system audio sample rate). If you move just a .tr5prj to a new location w/o Audio and point to the originals, T-Racks 5 will get very confused...

I’m reading the wiki entry on ARA and I’m like why is transport sync with plugins just in such a terrible state of affairs… maybe I’m just more sensitive to it because vsynth plugins have their own transport buttons. I miss the days of direct cubase integration of vocaloid…

Trying out Miku V6; the AI voice parameters do provide a lot more control compared to Piapro NT. Still some jankiness with "drift" adjustments where big pitch jumps show up, but overall it's a lot more workable. You can definitely get some decent results without resorting to manual pitch drawing...

There seems to be a lot of right wing Japanese posts suggesting a link between mosques in Japan and livestock barn fires. I saw one graph correlating the two but like you could just swap the mosques with global temperatures and you get the same graph…
